died Saturday, August 11, 2007 at her home. She was born February 5, 1927 in Rockingham, PA, the daughter of the late Samuel and Nora (Wirick) Taylor. She was a member of the Black Lick Presbyterian Church. She had worked at Celia Cribbs Rest Home as a cook for many years. Mary Lou was a homemaker who enjoyed her children. She is survived by sons, Daniel O'Neil & wife Dee Dee of Blairsville, PA, and Raymond O'Neil & wife Diana of Spring Church, PA, daughters, Linda Porter of Blairsville, PA, Carol Lopez & husband Ronald of Pixley, CA, Kathy Tarr & husband Robert of Blairsville, PA, Nancy Chapla & husband Robert of Josephine, PA, Peggy Alborn & husband Charles of Homer City, PA, Beverly LaMantia of Blairsville, PA and Diane Branthoover & husband Bruce of New Alexandria, PA. She is also survived by numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and sisters, Inez Hanna of Indiana, PA, Betty Tarr & husband Phillip of Brush Valley, PA, and Doris Laney & husband Glenn of Warren, OH. She is preceded in death by her husband, James O'Neil Sr. in 2000, son, James O'Neil Jr. in 2007, Infant son, brothers, Ray, Robert, Thomas & Samuel Taylor, sisters, Edna Thayer and Sara Deshner. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 13 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Services will be held on Tuesday in the Funeral Home at 11:00 AM. Rev. Robert Dunsmore will officiate. Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the VNA/Hospice, 850 Hospital Road, Suite 3000, Indiana, PA 15701.

Dean to McCain - Kick Tancredo to the Curb! *

Wowser! DNC Chairman Howie Dean grows a pair and tells the McCainster to "denounce" rabid Hispanic hater Tancredo...

"If John McCain is serious in his pledge to run a respectful campaign, he should immediately denounce Tom Tancredo's insulting remarks about Pope Benedict XVI," Dean said in a release. "After years of failing to address immigration reform, the Republican party has instead used the issue to scapegoat people to win elections."
When contacted by The Washington Times, the McCain campaign had no comment and referred questions to the Republican National Committee.

Bored With Bashing Mexicans, Tancredo Bashes The Pope

WASHINGTON — As thousands packed into a Washington, D.C., stadium to see Pope Benedict XVI, U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo attacked the pontiff for statements about immigration.
Tancredo, a Littleton Republican, accused the pope of welcoming illegal immigrants to the U.S. in order to build membership in the church.
The Catholic leader, while in Washington today, said: "I want to encourage you and your communities to continue to welcome the immigrants who join your ranks today, to share their joys and hopes, to support them in their sorrows and trials and to help them flourish in their new home."
Tancredo cited a March 1 editorial in the Wall Street Journal that said the Catholic Church "has been losing members rapidly — as much as a third of the native-born Catholic population. Meanwhile, it has gained members among foreign-born (mostly Latino) residents."
The Journal editorial added: "We'd encourage our friends on the right who want to limit immigration to consider the health of our churches."
"I suspect the pope's immigration comments may have less to do with spreading the gospel than they do about recruiting new members of the church," Tancredo said. "This isn't preaching; it is faith-based marketing."
Tancredo was raised Catholic but now attends Cherry Hills Community Church, an evangelical Christian church.

What the FUCK? How does Tancredo get away with this shit? Is his constituency in Colorado THAT messed up?

I mean, maybe I don't get it, but someone explain to me how Obama makes a comment about being "bitter" and they're all over his ass, while this jerkoff continually jerks off and no one blinks?

Then again, Tancredo's antics should come as no surprise. After all, this is the mental midget that sought to reprimand the NFL (yes, the National Football League!) because they didn't want to advertise the Border Patrol during the Super Bowl.

Tancredo had suggested that the NFL should guarantee the Border Patrol ad space in next year's Super Bowl and make a public statement expressing the league's support of the Border Patrol's mission. Uh huh...right.

"I think it is a mistake to assert that the basic existence and function of the Border Patrol is so controversial as to merit an outright rejection of its proposed advertisement," he said while the sky turned dark and flowers wilted.

Slow news days...

Okay...I've been busy, hence no posts to this blog as of late. Not to say there isn't anything going on, but I DO have a life and occasionally, I live it up!

Last week we witnessed the latest tactic in the "War On Illegals" out in Texas when a 13 year old girl threw a little bitch fit because someone at school took exception to her xenophobic "poster" about illegals by accusing them of "attacking" her and threatening her with "rape" in the bathroom.

Surveillance cameras at Athens Middle School showed Melanie Bowers, 13, purposefully making scratch marks on her face and arms in a hallway after a classmate took her poster. She then told administrators she was clawed and hit after about 20 students, livid over the poster message she chose for a class project, swarmed around her and wrested the sign away.

What school officials had earlier said was a scuffle partly borne from a heated national debate over immigration now appeared to be mostly horseplay.

"The real error in this whole thing lies in the young lady telling lies," the school official said.

Charges are being filed against 13 year old little nativist bitch Melanie Bowers by Athens ISD through the Henderson County District Attorney's office for filing a false report, said AISD officials on Wednesday.

Absolut Idiots

Absolut vodka, another of my fav Swedish "imports", is sold around the world. Recently, the xenophobic freak crowd, aka the "anti-illegals", went apeshit nativist over this ad that ran in (of all places)...Mexico!

Whatever...If you've ever seen Absolut ads, you know they've always been over-the-top. This is no exception, although the Reconquista conspiracy theorists that troll the internet with crack-fiend like intensity looking for anything to support their paranoid delusions are all a twitter over this one. They're calling for boycotts (as if they even drink vodka, let alone THIS vodka), circulating stories about their bartenders pulling it off the shelves, and generally having a psuedo-patriotic circle jerk about the whole thing. Fucking freaks...

Anyway, I was reading about all of this, and thinking I might head down to my local watering hole and buy anyone who's drinking vodka an "upgrade" to Absolut and I saw this story:

Apparently, after Michelle (me so horny!) Malkin posted her bitch fit on her blog, Absolut panicked and issued this statement -

"In no way was it meant to offend or disparage, nor does it advocate an altering of borders, nor does it lend support to any anti-American sentiment, nor does it reflect immigration issues,"

What a bunch of pussies! They caved in because a handful of idiots in the US took offense to an over the top ad they ran...in Mexico?
